General
Where do I pick up my rental?
Everything starts at our rental desk at Seaside Hotel, [Street Address], Treasure Island, FL 33706. You do not need to be a hotel guest to rent; the desk is open to the public.
Do I need to be staying at the hotel?
No. Hotel guests can charge rentals to their room, but anyone visiting Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, or Madeira Beach is welcome.
How do I pay?
Book online with no payment up front. We confirm availability and text or email a secure payment link. Hotel guests can also charge to their room. Prices are in U.S. dollars, plus 7% Florida and Pinellas County sales tax.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel for free up to 24 hours before your start time. If lightning, a small craft advisory, or a storm keeps you off the water or the road, we reschedule or refund you in full.
Are helmets, life jackets, and locks extra?
No. Life jackets, leashes, paddles, helmets, and bike locks are always included at no charge. There is no separate damage-waiver fee.
What are your hours?
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7 days a week. Last rentals go out at 5:00 PM. Hours can shift with the season and the weather.
Paddle boards
Do I need experience to rent a paddle board?
No. Our boards are wide, stable all-around boards built for first-timers, and every rental starts with a quick on-land safety and technique briefing.
Where is the best place to paddle in Treasure Island?
On calm mornings the Gulf side is glassy and great for spotting dolphins. When there is wind or chop, the back-bay waters of Boca Ciega Bay are more sheltered. We will tell you which side is best that day.
What is included with a paddle board rental?
Board, adjustable paddle, ankle leash, and a U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jacket for every rider. A sound-signaling whistle is included, as Florida rules require.
Can kids paddle board?
Yes. Kids can ride with an adult on the same board, and riders under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Children under 6 must wear their life jacket at all times on the water.
Is there an age limit to rent?
The person renting must be 18 or older with a photo ID.
Golf carts
Are your golf carts street legal?
Yes. Our carts are titled, registered, and insured low-speed vehicles (LSVs) with a VIN, headlights, turn signals, mirrors, and seat belts. Florida allows LSVs on roads with a posted speed limit of 35 mph or less.
Do I need a driver's license to drive a golf cart?
Yes. Every driver must be 21 or older and hold a valid driver's license, which we check at pickup.
Where can I drive the cart?
Our team gives you a route map before you leave. Some main roads, including stretches of Gulf Boulevard, are off-limits to LSVs except to cross at an intersection. The map shows the streets you can use.
How many people fit in a cart?
Choose a 4-seat or a 6-seat cart. Every rider must have a seat and a seat belt, and small children need a proper car seat.
Is there a minimum rental?
Carts rent by the day or by the week. The weekly rate is the better deal for five days or more.
E-bikes and scooters
Do I need a license to ride an e-bike or e-scooter?
No driver's license is needed. The renter must be 18 or older with a photo ID, and every rider must be at least 16.
How far can I go on an e-bike?
A full charge covers a full day of island riding. A ride from Treasure Island to John's Pass Village and back, or south to St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille, is well within range.
Are helmets included?
Yes, free with every bike and scooter. Florida law requires helmets for riders under 16, and we recommend them for everyone.
Why rent for 2 hours?
Most guests want to ride to lunch, the beach, or John's Pass and come back, not keep a bike for a whole day. The 2-hour rate is priced for exactly that.
Can I ride on the beach?
No. E-bikes and scooters stay on streets, bike lanes, and paths. Park and lock at a beach access or bike rack.
Ready when the water is.
Reserve online in two minutes. No payment until we confirm.
