Rental policies

Short version: be 18 or older, sign the waiver, wear your gear, bring it back on time and in one piece.

Who can rent

The renter must be 18 or older with a government photo ID and a credit card in their name.
Golf carts: every driver must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license, shown at pickup.
E-bikes and e-scooters: every rider must be 16 or older.
Paddle boards: riders under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
Every renter signs a liability waiver and rental agreement at pickup.

Booking and payment

Online requests are confirmed by text or email. A reservation is held once payment is complete.
Prices are in U.S. dollars, plus 7% Florida and Pinellas County sales tax.
A card is kept on file for the length of the rental to cover late returns, lost items, or damage beyond normal wear.

Cancellations and weather

Cancel for free up to 24 hours before your start time. Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
If we cancel because of lightning, a small craft advisory, a storm, or unsafe conditions, you can reschedule or get a full refund.
If weather cuts a rental short, we credit the unused time.

Returns

Return rentals to the desk by the time on your agreement. Late returns are billed at the next rate tier.
Daily and weekly rentals are due back by 5:00 PM on the last day unless agreed otherwise.
Lost keys, locks, paddles, or helmets are charged at replacement cost.

Safety rules

Paddle boards: wear the life jacket and leash. Stay out of boat channels, John's Pass, and Blind Pass.
Golf carts: seat belts on, one person per seat, approved streets only, no driving after drinking.
E-bikes and scooters: ride with traffic, no beach or dune riding, one rider per vehicle, lock when parked.
We may refuse or end a rental if a renter is impaired or riding unsafely, without refund.

Damage

Normal wear is on us. Damage caused by misuse, unapproved roads, or riding on the beach is charged at repair or replacement cost to the card on file. There is no separate damage-waiver fee.
